Default oil filter for twin cam??

Ive had evo's in the past and allways used valvoline 20w50 in engine and primary and a stp filter.

I read you need a oil filter with a special release for twin cams?? Do i need to stock up on filters from the dealer? also anyone useing valvoline 20w 50 in a twin cam?

My best recommendation for a TC is synthetic oil 20w50 and the Harley 5 micron filter. TC engines run hotter than Evo's (especially the EFI models) so a synthetic oil like Syn3, Mobil1Vtwin or Amsoil will give you better protection against heat.
