Is it ok to mount a hd premium oil cooler vertically instead of the horizontal mount provided? (the heat exchanger portion of the cooler) will a custom vertical mount change the way the oil cooler functions? The supply hoses will remain the same length and no changes to the filter mount assembly.

 

As long as oil can flow through it, it will still exchange heat.
