As pococj mentioned, 10W-40 and heavier oils do not have the tree-hugger "friction modifiers" which can cause clutch slippage. 10W-40, 15W-40, etc. Grab a quart of diesel oil like Delo, Delvac or Rotella or the HD stuff and your primary will be happy.

HD formula+ (which b.t.w. retails for about 17$/quart here)

$17 a Qt.? WOW!
I can see why you want something else.

sounds like you need a US connection for oil. Import/Export! What do used Harleys sell for?

well, problem is not just Harleys. all vehicles have 122% import tax, which makes a mk. 6 'vette cost around 160000$, or an H-3 mini-Hummer cost 90000$.
And used prices are accordingly high. my friend just sold his '93 Evo Fat-Boy for 25500$. I sold my '95 XL1200 for 12000$ 2 years ago and bought a new XL883C for 20000$.
But don't think for one minute that our salaries are accordingly high. take myself for example.
I'm 31, fully certified construction engineer, 7 years experianced, working full time in the telecomunication industry designing steel transmission towers. and I make 22000$ annualy after taxes.
atleast we have 250 sunny days a year.
