jagg oil cooler bypass heads up
installed my jagg cooler back in jan. and just figured out that when the bypass was on bypass it was going thru the cooler and vise versa. Label was put on wrong. I would sudjest anyone mounting one of these to blow thru it before you install.

The manual by pass is an addition to the oil cooler so that you can bypass the cooler for cold weather operation. The sticker that says that its in bypass was put on wrong.

If the bypass is open the oil flow is through the oil cooler.
The oil cooler is the bypass route, just like a detour on the road.
When it's closed the oil is not bypassing it's original route.

I'm going by the arrow that says its open or closed. If I followed the arrow as to the oil flow then the sticker was put on in the wrong position. The bypass looks like the capital letter H the cross that connects the two vertical lines is the bypass. This allows the oil to not go up to the cooler. Anyway the sticker was put on wrong with the arrow pointing in the wrong direction.

Well if it's wrong at least you caught it and know which way to turn it to make the oil flow through the cooler. That's all that really matters.
