It is ok, maybe for an Evo but for the hotter runing EFI bikes especially the 96 I wouldn't bother. HD360 has a better additive package. I won't use anything but synthetics because of heat resistance. Dino starts oxidizing at 250F and syn goes past 300F.

Valvoline would be better for a water cooled bike or a car.

It's a good oil with a good ad pack that is readily available. I'd use it instead of HD360. I prefer to change out regular oil around 2,500 miles or 1 year, especially in a twin cam. If using a real synthetic oil such as Amsoil, I'd run it for at least 5,000 and if doing a lot of highway riding, up to 10,000 miles or 1 year.

I believe you want a VOA, to see what the additive package starts off as. That can be found at the Bitog site. You'll have to do a alot of reading to find them, but there in there.,,

I have been using Valvoline 4 Stroke Motorcycle Oil in my Harley and in a 4 cyl. air cooled high revving metric engine (this engine has flat tappet cam followers and plain type main and rod bearings).

Funny, for as many posts I`ve read that say you must use synthetic oil or the world as we know it will end...

I have yet come across a post about an engine suffering damage, such as scuffed pistons, stuck rings, damaged bearings because of a lubrication failure from dino oil...

And I`ve never found any damage to an engine I have torn down due to oil failure.
