Has anyone experienced an oil leak that seems to be coming from the top side of the transmission housing, center. I can see oil on top of the trans housing but no indication of where it is coming from. I changed oil yesterday and it has leaked about 2 tablespoons of oil in 2 days. It only leaks when it is running. Appreciate any help. Thanks.

 

If you just changed oil yesterday and today you have a leak you probably overfilled it and it is blowing out the breather tube and onto the top of the trans from the wind. See if there is any oil in the air cleaner cover. Check your breather hoses as well. If so, take a turkey baster and suck out 1/4 quart until it stops.

If that isn't it check the rocker box cover on the rear jug and tighten the bolts on the trans top cover.
