Oil Leak
OK, I know Harleys are supposed to mark their territory but...
I have a '93 FXLR - 90th Anniversary - which I bought used a little over a year ago. According to the odometer and title, it's got just a tad over 10,000 miles on it. I don't have any reason to doubt that, but you never actually can be 100% sure. I actually haven't ridden the bike but about 3 or 4 times and those were short rides (crashed my Sportster about two Septembers ago - not my fault - and am still a little aprehensive). In fact, it hasn't even been started in about 3 or 4 months. Yesterday, I noticed that there was some oil leeching out of the bottom rear corner of the L/H side cylinder. Now, it's not like I started the bike up, warmed up the oil, and it was pumped into the cylinder. Like I said, it hasn't been started in a while. The only thing I did was to sit on it and rock it side to side a little 'cause I had changed the transmition oil. This was the first time I ever noticed this and there hasn't ever been any oil drops on the floor. I don't think that when the bikes at rest that the oil sits that high in the crankcase. Any ideas why this is happening? Do I have a major problem?
Thanks
