Default Who is using non HD oil filter and which one?

I installed Purolator for $3 but it is shorter than HD filter. It also has printed # on it.

Don`t trust the info on that site, old and outdated and in many cases inaccurate. Anybody can make an oil filter website and fill it with their opinions.

Unless the oil filter manufacturer says the filter is made for the application, I don`t use it.
