I am going with a billet oil cooler from wimmer. It uses the Jagg adapter with the thermostat in it. I plan on mounting it horizontally on a custom bracket.

Just never like the look of the Harley unit.

 

I canceled my order for the HD version and used the Jagg adapter with thermostat and went the crash bar cooler route. works great!

 

I tried to buy a Super Premium cooler yesterday.Called five local dealers.PN 62895-03A is now 03B.No dealers had them and may not be available until Oct.
I would consider an aftermarket cooler but dont want any warranty issues.

 

My cooler was also on backorder and was in last week.

 

Discontinued??? Heck I got one for my 99 and never got around to putting it on. Then planned to put it on my 05 but the bike had some bigger "issues" that kept me from doing anything to it when it was new. Now that the bike has settled in, turns out I'm riding less and still have not mounted it ( and am begining to wonder if I ever will ) . Maybe I should just hold on to it ( still in the original box from HD, never mounted and for the most part all the small pieces are still in the original plastic bags) in case it becomes a collectors item. Any idea what it's worth?
