Default Cam cover seaping oil

Hey everyone. I have a '99 Road King (FLHPI) with almost 44k miles on it. I started using SYN3 about 10,000 miles ago, and I get a decent bit of oil seeping out around the cam cover. Kind of makes a mess on the right side of the bike back to my saddle bags. Think the problem would be fixed if I go back to regular oil? Or is it something else I need to look at?
Thanks for the help.

Sure it's coming from around the cam cover and not dripping out of the air filter an onto the cam cover? If it is the cam cover, drop the exhaust, pull the cover and change out the gasket.....check your tensioners while you're in there!
