The only advice I can give is stick with your brand of choice. The oils out there are so close in quality that it really doesn't make enough of a difference to change brands...Just keep an eye on your riding habits with the seasons....Colder weather requires a lighter oil...If you ride when it's below freezing you don't want to run a 20W-50 oil....When I ride to/from work below freezing the oil temp barely makes it above 80-deg...Thats not enough to evaporate any moisture during those cold winter months even though I go with 10W-40 synthetic...When the crankcase breather has a grey froth I know the oil isn't getting to temp to evaporate the moisture out of the oil....That is where the engine wear occurs....Summer and Spring months are different in that the ambient air temp is high enough to vent the moisture out of the oil....I change my oil in the winter every 600 miles to get that moisture out of the engine...Usually when I change my oil in the winter I get at least 5-ounces of water draining out of the oil tank...Synthetics are SUPERIOR at placing the water at the bottom of the oil tank in those cold months..That is what they are made for and hence the high price....Synthetics also keep the water from freezing at low temps and clogging up the oil line that feeds the oil pump!

Stick with your synthetic of choice....You won't regret it!

Thanks for the input guys. I have read for hours on that forum! I use mobil 1 in my trucks and love it . The oil I asked about I bought for the hydro stat system in my Ex Mark mower . Believe it or not that's what the factory uses in these.
