Amsoil Online Recommendations?
I am pricing Amsoil at some of my local shops and wouldn't mind purchasing it online by the case if it would give me a discount, anyone know where I can order it from and how much for a case shipped to NY 13790 zip? I do like Amsoil products but their marketing scheme really sucks so please don't send me any marketing sh@#, I don't want to be a dealer or listen to your BS... I just want to change my oil for a reasonable price!

The best way is to get several other people who want to buy a case in your area and buy the preferred customer license for $20 and do a group buy to offset the cost of shipping & the PC fee. The oil will last 5 years if kept indoors in the original sealed container.

After you pay your $20 for the discount? And pay for the shipping charges, Wait for it to be shipped, What is the price per qt? And if you buy say, 10 cases do they pay the shipping?.

A lot easier to drive 1 mile from home and get Mobil 1 v-twin. Its a $1.30 less a qt and I don't have to buy a membership, order it, pay shipping or any of that Chit..
And they also have Mobil 75-140 Gear Lube.

OK, I am starting to consider Mobile 1 V-Twin. Found it at local advanced auto parts store for $10.50/qt. Gotta check out whats available at the secondary motorcycle shops and wally world.

Big difference in quality of the oil. Mobil meets OEM. AMSOil exceeds it, the filters have twice the screening capability. In my cars the mileage went up, on the bike temperature down 10 degrees (borrowed someones digital gauge). You can buy it yourself as a preferred customer for 8.55 a quart, which is cheaper than Mobil One and Royal Purple. As someone noted you could order the larger containers and share it with several riders and really do good for the price. I worked for the Defense Energy Suppy Center, and have read just about everything every written on lubrication. Good synthetic with no additives is the way to go. I have run several engines over 50K miles and upon removing the valve covers not varnish scum, look like new, no compression loss. Synthetic provides lube when first starting because is clings to the pistons. 90% of engine wear occurs during starting. That' why when something has not been run in a while just bump the starter to get a good oil coating before your start it. Not an AMSOil dealer yet, but thinking about it.
