Default Oil coming out of breather

I have a '03 Wide Glide, TC 88 engine, no modifications. I recently went on a trip from Georgia to Texas and back. Had the oil changed and bike checked over prior to leaving. After about 600 miles I noticed that there was oil leaking out of the breather. We had been traveling about 400 miles a day averaging 70-75 mph. Had Amsoil prior to oil change then went with Revtech. I lost maybe half a quart the whole time. The shop I use told me that this was common on TC88 engines when running that long and hard. Anyone agree with this? Is there anything I can do to stop this?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Common. You can reroute the breathers.

It is common. Several ways to cure it, all of them require you to reroute the breather tubes. The best way is get a crankcase breather kit and run the vent line down just under the frame.

Do you have at least a Stage 1? Or is it still a stock breather?

Default oil pump/oil preasure problem

Has any one ever had there preasure light come on at idle but as soon as you pick up the rpm it goes out I fixed the preasure switch wire but it still comes on at idle could it be that the pump needs rebuilding? I ordered a preasure gauge to check the preasure any ideas thanks
