Oil Change
#2
Welcome to the forum. My best advice is if you are going to do any work on your bike then go get a HD factory service manual that will give you all the details. You can get one from your dealer for about $60 and it will save you more than that with your first complete oil change.
Oil service is very easy to do...BUT..you can fubar some items if you don't do them correctly. Don't ask how I know this...

Oil drain plug is located between the shocks on the oil pan. Its a little hard to get to, you'll need an extension for your wrench. And I agree with the previous poster about the service manual.

That is the tranny drain plug between the shocks. Engine oil drain plug is beside the right frame rail below the oil tank.
