$92 for Oil + Chrome Filter?!?!
Ok, a friend told me he could teach me how to change my own oil, and therefore avoid the high price that the harley dealer was going to charge me.
I headed down to a local harley dealer today, picked up a chrome filter, and 4 bottles of synthetic, and just about fell over when I saw it was $92 (canadian) for all of it.
WTF

Mine charges about $160.(for all 3 holes) But the HD syn & oil filter is only $55. I would look for a different oil source like one of the Amsoil dealers or Mobil1Vtwin. But I do know oil in Canada is expensive.

Yeah maybe I'll take it back there and go grab some Amsoil...
Supposedly they don't like you using that stuff, but my guess is because they aren't making any coin off the Amsoil sale as opposed to the harley branded stuff.

I get my K&N chrome filters for about 16 Cdn from a local mc shop (not HD). Shop is a Ducati/Triumph dealer who also sells a lot of various used bikes. Carquest is where I get my Amsoil and the manager gives me a fair price on MCV that he stocks. I think the last batch I paid 9.85 quart. I normally buy a load of Amsoil for my cars, truck and mc at the same time.
