Default MOBIL-1 Question

I'm, thinkin about Swithin to Mobil-1 next oil change...
AND Red-Line in the Tranny AND SYN-3 in the primary...
I've been usin Syn-3 for 5 years in all 3 Holes
Do I just Pop in Mobil-1
and go 5,000 miles till my Next oil change..

YES. No need to flush (in case that is what you had in mind)

Yep..! that was one of the things I was wonderin AND

IS it Really OK to change the oil every. 5k ,. OR NOT...

If you are using the Mobil1 Vtwin 20w50 5000 miles is fine. If you are using the 15w50 I would go 3500.

Kind of depends on a few different factors...

is the bike ridden for short periods without really getting up to temp?

how long does it take to reach 5000 miles?

what's the condition of the rings and other internal parts?

I guess a used oil analysis would be a better indicator...

When I go Fur a Ride it's Usually 100+ miles , don't take it on short rides

I Ride about 5,000 mi. a year

It's got 30,000 mi. in her........ and runs Great
