Good numbers to go by. Could go farther with the syn, but I like to get my hands dirty once in a while

Last Saturday I helped my friend do his 10k service on his RK. He insisted that being he's using Amsoil and paying a premium price for the ability to go 10k between oil changes he's gonna get his moneys worth from that oil.He changed the trans and primary as they were unknown brand . He rides alot mostly highway. Anyone else think that way?.,,

If you NEVER go more than 2,000-2,500 miles before changing what's the benefit of synthetic oil in a TC 96" engine other than running a little cooler?

The benifit would be draining your cash so you dont weigh so much and you can ride faster!

The factory recommends every 5k with dino oil, the only thing more frequent oil changes are going to do is wear out the threads on the drain plug.
