oil change again

oil change again
I know this topic has been beaten to death. I have put 2k on my bike since my last oil change. I use syn3 in my bike. It has been stored all winter in my garage, my question should I change it in the spring or go the 3k and change at the 5k, that synthetics are geared for? Any help will appreciated.

In the future, change your fluids prior to winter storage. Condensation builds up in the oil and then it sits there all winter. Having said, never heard of a problem with not doing it, but it's good practice.

I would recommend changing in spring. As Dawg suggested in future change all fluids before storage.
As far as the OCI, I think 5,000 miles is fine for any synthetic. You will get lots of opinions what is the best oil. I will just say SYN3 is the most expensive of all of them. I have had great UOA's with Amsoil products.

+1 with this advice. Change in fall before winter storage to remove acids, fuel and other by products of combustion. I would change it now and then start in fall with your annual oil change. If you ride less than 5000 per year then change at 1 year each fall.
