Not impressed with syn oil

I've got 4 cyl car with almost 200K on it and it runs great. Used Mobile 1 from day 1, change it every 10-12K. Still slippery, but it gets dirty like dino oil. Change it every 5K on the HD.
Can't tell the difference as far as sound is concerned. I just trust the stuff. Too slippery in the clutch area though.

Guess I touched a nerve with some synthetic guru's.

Naw...just kidding...but if you want some good dino oil try Brad Penn Racing 20w50. There is a post about it here in the oil forum and you should be able to get it for less than the HD360.

i know there are die hard core dino users and hard core syn users i have used

both in 2 different bikes and the amsoil worked best for me the tranny shifts smoother

and no more metal schavings in the magnetic plugs use what you like and ride safe

I googled the website and sent an email to their customer service on line contact form. They responded in about an hour and they have a distributor here locally. Not sure if they have one where you are but it is worth looking at. There are some guys selling cases on ebay for $55 & shipping but I would check with the company first. You may have a source locally. Here is the link:

Thanks for the link, I did read that it is pennsylvania oil with parriffin in it. The days of old there was a problem with this wax building up inside the engine, seen this first hand when i was working on cars back in the early 80's. maybe times have changed with this wax.
