Default how to change oil in 92 fatty???

i am in the process of changing the oil in my 92 fatty for the first time. i found the plug in the end of the hose under the bike (pretty easy) and found the filter (even easier). is there another drain plug for the crank case that i am not seeing or is the hose with the plug the only drain i have to worry about?

Basically, HDs have no oil in the crankcase. They are dry sump engines.

I would recommend you get a service manual for your bike if you plan to do any work on it. They run about $50 and are worth every penny. You might consider getting a 3/8 drive inch lb rated torque wrench too.

Yep, yer crazy... right along with the rest of us. Your Sloptail doesn't need a torque wrench for an oil change.

Yeah, but if you had a Sloptail would you torque the hose clamp on the oil tank drain?
