Default RE: Oil Analyses Results

Does anyone know of any head to head comparison of the major players in the synthetic oil market that can be found online or otherwise easily accessible?
Just switched to Royal Purple and plan to go 6000 miles between changes, but replacing the filter at 3,000 miles. They claim to be compatible with regular oil, which I think is a good quality in case I ran low out on the road someplace and RP or another syn wasn't available.

Here is the site I found & joined. Sent oil in for analysis to one of their sponsors. Plenty of good discussion, and access to some pretty sharp people.

Bumping this ol' thread up 'cause several folks have asked about the differences in the M1 vs HD oils.
