Has anyone out there had experience with the new oil filter on the market that you fit for life and only have to clean it during oil changes ?

It is quite expensive here in the UK approx $172 but if it works it will soon pay for itself

 

I'm not big on unproven products being tested on my Harley. Let some other poor smuck find out if it works or not. There are so many things out there that don't do what they claim. I'm just leery about products and their unrealistic claims.

 

Yeah, I would be afraid to be the guinea pig for something as critical as an oil filter. Plus $172 will by a few so how long till you get a payback.

Is it made by Amsoil? I can buy at laeast 12 chrome hd filters for that price and
they filter down to 5 microns!
