Oil drain plug
#12
LOL, thats funny. Probablly because the oil section is so small compared to other sections. Its only a 2006 post after all. Just laughing because the very first thing I did when I bought my '96 Low Rider was strip the drain plug. Shitti a$$ design if I do say so myself.

Absolutely brother. I take great pride in appeasing the HD R&D folks and strip as many aluminum threads as I can over the course of owning every Harley I've ever had. My deal on this oil drain plug is that I used a torque wrench this time instead of going by feel. I over torqued and blew out the threads in the pan. The self tapping plug is the way to go. It would take all day to replace my oil pan on my '09 bagger, so I'm gonna just ride with the self tapper and call it a day. All it does is add a 3/4 socket to my fluid changing shelf of other tools.
