Oil cooler - temp. difference?
Thinking about adding an oil cooler to my '02 (mostly stock) Fatboy... Riding last weekend, the temp at the dipstick was between 210 - 230 F \\;degrees, with 70 - 85 F degree air temps.
Just wondering what kind of temp difference I can expect with a cooler?
Also, haven't researched them yet - any suggestions as to what brand / model / etc. might be best?
thanks... again.

RE: Oil cooler - temp. difference?
I have used oil coolers , they dropped my temp 30-40 degrees on a mostly stock bagger ..

210-230 isnt a problem ..

RE: Oil cooler - temp. difference?
I'm running the HD Premium Oil Cooler with built in thermostat and in Southern California the days get warm, yesterday 98-100 degrees. I was riding 2-up. Oil temp was 225 most of the day.
I'm running Redline Syn Oil 20-50.
