At my last change I followed Mobil 1's advice and went to 20w-50 Mobil 1 in all three holes. Since then it has run noticeably cooler and shifts better. Finding neutral is easier as well. I was not a fan of the fluids Harley had used. I really think as long as you stick to a recognized brand and the correct viscosity you can't go wrong. It's mostly personal preference.

Redline here. Great stuff, shifts better, no clunking, easy to get neutral.

RedLine here. But i think any top quality gear lube that is at least 75W-> would work fine.

You should not use synthetic in your primary. Your clutch will slip. My mechanic gave me a severe scolding for doing the same thing.
