i use sythetic in engine and tranny. semi synthetic in primary. recommended by my indy. bike feels the same.

I use semi synthetic. That way no matter who wins this age old argument, I got the right stuff in my bike.

Mobil 1 for me because its the easy to find. Redline in there now because it came back from the shop that way.

Do any cars acutally use 15W-50? Other than 200k+ mile beaters that need 50 weight just to fill the huge gap between the bearings and journals....

I saw an opinion somewhere that the oil companies expect that the 15W-50 (20W-50, 20W-60, etc) type oils are actually being used in air-cooled engines (read: mototcycles).

Default castrol power rs v-twin syn

i seen it at walmart for 4.50 a quart , down from 8.65, it says its is for use in harley's eng,tran,and prime. figuring the are both synthetics(20-50) so i shouldnt have an issue right?

That's what is in my bike now...Got real tired of spending OVER $10.00 a quart for what I was using and yes it's synthetic. Good to go...
