Can heavy-duty diesel oil be used in motorcycles?

Yet you felt the need to post how you use an average mc oil at best with an above average price tag.

yeah, started using Golden Spectro in the 1970s when I started riding and racing motocross..I trust their products..just don't use them for our Harleys because there's no need to

Not sure what that has to do with your rude post to the guy who simply posted what oil he uses, but if it makes you feel better, fine.
Cheers.

It's the "oh geeze, another oil thread" comments then proceed to post in them. A simple I run xxxx oil would surfice. Or why. But no, some feel the need to comment on the fact someone is asking an oil question in the first place then proceed to participate like it's some how justified to do so then.
Now Now Boys and Girls how about some of you Deflate your Chest and put your Guns back in there Holsters. Remember what Rodney King ask of the public after he got the $ h ! t beat out of him.......CAN'T WE ALL JUST GET ALONG. Not pointing a finger at someone in particular here just saying,

No boys and girls here, no need to talk to us like children, no one appointed you as moderator or referee.
It is just a spirited discussion, so take a break and leave me and 60Gunner have some fun...
It happens here so get used to it.

i owned one and never an issue. it had the canadian iron duke 4 banger and got terrific fuel mileage since i was chasing semi-submersible rig around the gulf. it did use the fuel tank top as the floor in the trunk.
sorta like the corvair with exploding engines with a rear ender.
