Up until 1993, Harley didn't have this problem where the oil comes out of the air cleaner. Many EVO and Twin Cam engines have been plauged with this......usually though, the faster and harder one rides....the more oil comes out.
I suggest to let it vent to the atmosphere underneath the engine. OR
Purchase an aftermarket item (much like a PCV valve from a car) OR
I personally route mine into the aircleaner. I have a hose that runs from the carryover tube to the aircleaner. In that hose, there is a T-fitting installed. There is another hose running from the T-fitting. This hose has plug at the end of it and collect the oil. Now at every oil change, I check the hose and drain any excess oil.

Now THAT seems like a very good and inexpensive and unintrusive solution. You might think about turning that into an invention.  \\;Lots of cars have a collection can on the pcv system.

RE: oil leak air cleaner
just to keep this post alive \\; pre '93 motors were case breathers and would blow oil out on certain models if the sit for a while. what I feel happens now that causes oil in the \\; air filter is when the motor is run at 3000 rpms or more on the highway, the crankcase is pressurised from the pistons downstroke. that pressure slows down the oils return .Causing it to pool in the heads. after a short while the oil level gets high enough for it to start dripping into the vent and into the air cleaner. below 3k it doesn't happen that much unless you have done some motor work like bigger cylinders and pistons. the vents were designed to let an oily mist pass thru and burned in the engine. if you get a good size slug of oil it will cause the motor to miss or start running crappy. could even oil foul a plug which would make you think you have other problems.,,  \\;

i changed out the umbrella valves and seems to have been the fix.

Well, that will certainly cause the oil puking issue. Make sure all of your hoses &\\; lines are clear and you should be good to go for quite a while.

RE: oil leak air cleaner
 \\;Thanks for the info on here you guys. Gives me some things to check. We took a trip from North Dakota to North Carolina and back. We logged 5200 miles total on the '95 Glide which is built with a Street Glide look. Seems when we hit strong head winds (35 to 40 MPH), the engine would blow oil from th eair cleaner trying to run 65 to 75 MPH loaded down. I'm going to \\;inspect the check valve and umbrella valves
 \\;
 \\;thanks
