Default complete oil change

After reading about the 5 qt. oil change,I went to NAPA parts store and bought a combination 3/8 and 5/8 quick disconnect tool(about 5$),4 feet of 3/8 hose and went home to change oil.All went as usual, used the 5/8 end of tool to disconnect oil line, and attached hose.Ran motor for 30 seconds and flushed about a quart of dirty oil out.I'm no mechanic,so everyone can do this, what a great idea.I will never perform an oil change again without flushing motor. Thanks all!!

Good for you, way to go!

I like to see the new oil stay clean for a while and this helps that happen.

Are there any pictures anywhere to show which lines to disconnect? I have the shop manual but didn't see anything there.

Your bike has internal oil lines and this will not work for you.
