Anybody have any input on Lucus oil?

 

The API ratings for their 20w50 synthetic are only ilsac3 sm/cf which is really automotive and for their High Performance Motorcycle 20w50they have no ratings published. No JASO rating anywhere? Reminds me of the HD oils with no published ratings.

 

started using it this season the racing syn 20w 50 black label no problem so far

 

I use Lucas Gear Oil in my gear box (85W140) and it works great. I have the six speed in my 06 Low Rider.

Lucas oil is recommended by "Thunder Alley Cycles" in Burleson, Texas. They did the 10K service for me including the Lucas 20/50 in all three holes. Big difference in the way my 07 Street Bob runs. Transmission is works quietly and the bike just seems to have more power. By the way, the 10K with Lucas was only $161 at Thunder Alley as opposed to my local HD shop which wanted $470.
