Oil Light
2007 Street Glide:
When I turn my key on before starting the idiot oil light comes on but when I start it , it goes out. When I shut the bike off the light is on and then begins to flicker a few times. I am assuming maybe the sending unit can anyone verify. It only has 4k miles and I just changed the oil and trans and filter.

If when you say "when I shut the bike off" that means using the run/stop switch then I'm not sure you have a problem. The instrument circuit (indicator lights) is still powered. As the engine rolls to a stop the oil pressure light may flash a bit as the pressure drops. Once the engine is at 0 rpm the light should not flash.

cHarley when the bike has been off for about 10 minutes and I just turn the key on and the instrument panel is on the Green Neutral and the Red Oil Light are on then in a matter of seconds the oil light starts to flicker and go on and go out repeatedly.[X(]
