RE: 'Nother Dern Oil Topic!
Keep all the info you can coming our way!! I for one, can take all the info I can get. I work part time at a local independant HD shop, and I like to be informed for not only me but the customers. We've already posted the Magnuson Ross (sp) act up in theshop since I started working there. We've been getting allot of crap from the local dealers. They hate us anyway because we don't worship the bar and shield...

so i just went out to my local autozone and picked up 6 quarts of m1 vtwin 20w-50. my plan is to put it in "all 3 holes". what do you think, skip - thumbs up or down? it's the 5000mi service on an 06 ultra.
btw, i'm not seeing anyone commenting on filters. that's gotta have a big impact - the oil is only as good as the filter, no?

transmission?
I have a new 2011 Tri-Glide, and about time for the 1,000 miler. What are you using in the tranny? I like amsoil, but notice the Mobil 1 comes right behind it on Amsoil comparisons. What Mobil 1 type would be good for it?
Thanks in advance for any info.

For the trans use the 75w90 or 75w140 gear oil.
