Default Recycling used synthetic oil

Is there any problem recycling used synthetic motor oil with used petroleum oil at auto dump stations? From what I understand, the used motor oil is refined into home heating oil. Is this correct? Just wondering.......

No issues. Both will work in an oil burner.

is it true that synthetic oil will make the burner last longer then dino oil? and what brand is the best to use?

most so called syn oil is modified dino oil. that term has a wide berth of a meaning so big ships can park.
most used oil is not reused as fuel oil. most is refracted and turned into base stock since all of the lighter distillates have already been boiled off.

I return oil to where it came from, the earth. Pour it on the gravel so it can be pumped again for future generations providing the endless abundant and natural blood of freedom and prosperity known as Natural Oil.
