RE: Oil Filter
I'm bumping this to the top as I also am curious regarding ifPurolator is the manufactor of HD filters. Does that mean a purolater filter for my HD is the same as buying a HD filter?

RE: Oil Filter
Ok. I farm for a living here in central Nebraska and have been very dependent on Baldwin filters based out of Kearney. I have used them since 1974 in all my large and small equipment and have had nothing but good luck with them. I agree a Fram is junk... or anyway I believewhen you cut open the filter and analyze/compare it to others you can see the obvious difference. I also agree Purolator is an excellent filter as well, but for what it is worth.... The Baldwin filter is top of the line in my opinion....
