Default SCAVENGE OIL CHANGE

Hi all-
I was wondering if anyone does a scaveng oil change? I asked my dealer's service manager if they did scaveng oil changes and he said no.

I have one I bought for my '98 EVO. I love it! Works great and gets the old oil out. I want to buy one for my '07, but I'm getting other things on the list first.

Default RE: SCAVENGE OIL CHANGE

With each oil change, I follow the Complete Softail Oil Change process described in this forum. You don't need the aftermarket 'puck.' I get almost a full quart of dirty oil with each scavenge, so I think it is the right thing to do. See the link in the DIY Oil Forum - www.hdforums.com/m_254963/tm.htm.
