Default Messy Oil Filter Change

Anyone have a tip on how to avoid an oil slick when changing the oil filter on a TC-88B. I ride a 2002 FLSTCI and make a mess everytime I change the oil. I have a couple of those aftermarket "Oil Change Aids" (They don't work)

I would appreciate any help you can offer

I cut a 2-liter plastic bottle in half, then slide it under the oil filter when I spin it off.

A 1/2 gal milk jug cut to the shape of a scoop can fit undet the filter and catch most of the run off.

Aluminum Foil under the filter

1/2" raised edges

Works well

Braek Clean to remove any residue that happens to be missed by the foil
