I don't have the 04 anymore, we bought an 09 Ultra. 21,000+ miles already
and I change at 5000. My UOA above shows the 15-50 is in excellent condition even with the extreme
heat generated by the 96" in 110+ AZ weather. My temp gauge pegged 300 or more for extended
periods of time.

Excellent condition would be no shearing. The 04 sample sheared to a mid 40 weight.

The oil in 09 did hold up very well.

Whenever I visit my wife's folks in Texas, I really don't feel like riding when its over 100 degrees. If you can deal with it your tougher then me. I would consider running straight 60 wt if I had to pick an oil to be used in that climate. I thought my '03 ultra gave off crazy heat when it was in the '90's round here, I think it would burst into flames in 110 degrees.lol.,,

Not tough but thanks it's just part of living in Arizona. We did over 200 miles in 115-118 in July. I didn't have a temp gauge then and I'm probably glad I didn't.

I just received the results from Blackstone on my first ever oil report.
Could I get your opinions of the results ?

I had a 95'' kit w/Andrews 26 cams installed 10k ago.

Do I e-mail the results or what ?

Thanks, Fred

Can you scan it to your PC? If you can you will need to post it through online photo sharing. I use picturetrail.com but there are others.

If you can't scan it PM me and I will post it for you or I can scan it and resend you photo and you can post it through the online photo sharing company of your choice.

Another way you could post it is by just typing in all the information into a post.

Default 2010 FLHTK HD360 20W50 1,937 miles

This is my first UOA on this bike. I changed oil at 100,400 and 1,100 miles to flush engine out well. It looks like it worked pretty well.

Bike has 3,000 miles on it at this UOA. I changed to Amsoil MCV 20W50 at oil change.
