Use what you want. Opinions here differ and a little reading / investigation on any sub forum will answer any question. Oil threads are more than any issue and should help you understand.

Hi

A lot of the regulars here get a bit unfriendly when they see a new thread related to "oil", its been discussed a lot and there is a designated section for it on the Forum. Lots of informative reading here:

IMHO, if you're interested in synthetics because you're buying into the extended drain interval feature then don't. Just go with dino and follow the recommended change schedule. If you're planning on sticking to the recommended change intervals then you've got some reading to do. In North America, a lot of oils labeled "synthetic", aren't. We have to be careful about that or we wind up paying synthetic prices for hydrocracked dino oil. As I understand it, your consumer laws in Europe are different so this may not be an issue for you.

Technically, its all good either way. Just change it when you're supposed to.

your oil choice looks good if its a 20w-50, 15w-50 or maybe even 10w-50

Jose, you just opened a can of worms, asking about oil! In other words it is a subject which gets lots of jokes, which is why some of the comments above may not make much sense. Personally I only use mineral oils in my Harley - they are not car engines or Jap bikes, with plain bearing crankshafts, which benefit more from using synthetic oils.
