i just posted this in the wrong forum so i will try it again. sorry for the repeat. i am at the final stages of a bike build. it is the first like harley v-twin i have ever had. it has a rev tech 100ci engine.when i got theengine i put a $25 oil pressure guage on it before i ever started the thing up. now when i start the bike cold i get oil pressure readings of 40lbs or more. as the bike gets up to operating temp the pressure drops to 0lbs at an idle and 10 to 20lbs running down the road. it only has 50 miles on it.i had a local bike shop tell me that if i am not hearing clunking and clanging not to worry. i dont want to trash this thing. is there any way i can get a more accurate oil pressure reading on this thing besides these aftermarket guages. i am running bel ray 20-50 oil i believe.
