Default Oetiker clamps on oil cooler lines at the filter adapter?

Getting parts together to mount an oil cooler on the Sportster. I'm going with Jaggs #4550 oil filter adapter which uses susa Proline M22x1.5 90* swivel fittings. No infringement intended on the image...

Would it be better to use Oetiker clamps as opposed to screw type clamps? If so, the barbed end on these fittings has two barbs, I assume it would be better to install the clamp before both barbs (end of the hose), and not between them or would it matter?

I'm obviously wanting these connections to not be prone to leaks as it looks to be a major PITA to get in there to retighten a screw type clamp should they start to loosen up over time/heat cycles. I have a couple of the anodized hose ends for the lines at the cooler, at least I can keep an eye on them and they'd be easy to get to.

Those fittings look lie a pushlok fitting. Push the hose on, no clamps needed. Lube the inside of the hose prior to assembly or they are really hard to get on.

Agree with RKGDC. What does Jagg recommend?

If so, there is zero chance the hose can come off? I had an oil cooler line work it's way off the GPz 550 I had, made for a MAJOR pucker moment until I got the bike stopped. A quart of oil and a rear tire don't play well together...

I haven't asked them yet, had planned on it though. Was interested on what people on here recommended/thought.

Hello! For the record- ive never had a worm gear clamp come loose on me- i suppose it could happen. The clamps you want to use are excellent- thats why harley and alot of oems use them. If you have the tool and you can fit it in there- why not!
I think Jagg put two barbs there just because its designed for worm gear clamps (extra holding strength). I think between the barbs would probably be easier- but past the two barbs would be better(if you can fit the hose on far enough.
