Hey all, some may remember my mysterious oil out of the breather and everywhere else problem on my fxe.

Well, the first problem was someone before me had put the wrong oil pump gaskets in the pump. I also put a new check ball and spring (i did NOT re seat the ball), and at the suggestion of an old friend, i routed the breather down to the ground instead of up to the air cleaner (he said oil could be filling the line and blowing out when the bike is running.

I don't know wich fix did the trick, but it solved my oil everywhere problem, and i get NO oil out of the breather line anymore.



ps: the gasket for an 81 fxe and an 80 fxe are NOT the same!!!!! double check your gaskets!!!!!!! found this the hard way....
