I just put Redline 10W-40 in my Low Rider and Shockproof in the trans. I was suprised just how thick the Shockproof was. It looked like tomato soup and stuck to the side of the measuring cup. I could not see through it. I have only just changed the fluids, but so far so good after 200 miles. If you have not already, check out www.myoilshop.com

Shockproof heavy in the transmission and Mobil 1 V-twin in the crank and primary. When I made my first oil change of the shockproof in the transmission, the magnet on the drain plug only had a small amount of metal dust, no shavings like with other oil. To me, that equates to less wear and longer life in the transmission. I order it from myoilshop.

Yep, this is the fella that sold me on it. Real evidence doesn't lie.. And the thought of what the gears in a harley tranny go through.. It's a must to protect it better than a semi synthetic or dino oil. I've heard guys with higher mileage bikes swear by the stuff also.

Don't forget a shake or two before pouring it out.

Bill, I do shake and jump up and down before I put the stuff in but I just don't see how that helps unless it's some kind of karma deal. Pat
