The story is going on...! I replaced the stock oil pump with a new S&S HVHP oil pump and installed a pressure gauge for a better readingbut the the problem is still the same, and I start to get crazy. I know that the engine is getting very hot and at the same time the pressure gauge shows 0 pressure and the light comes on in idle. Sometimes miss firing too

Can this have anything to do with my oil cooler? How much more oil I need to fill up additionalto compensate for the "cooler and pretty long tubes to and from the cooler" to the stock amount of oil? What about oil hoses? Can they be the the problem?

Below you can see what is done so far:

New oil pressure switch
New oil filter
SAE W-60 oil as recommendet for high outside temps
New oil cooler (Dual Cool II Chrome Billet Oil Cooler)
New S&S HVHP oil pump
New Breather gear from S&S
New Cmshaft and bearings
New spark plugs & wires
Everything cleaned twice (not the oil hoses so far)
and, and, and...

My service manual says very clear that the oil level or pressure is important, and I don't know what more I can do - my mechanic here in Thailand is on the end of his knowledge but I feel that still something is wrong.

Anybody can help?
