Default Fork oil recommendations

I've done some reading on past post regarding Harley fork oil. I want a little firmer front end since I am running detachable fairing sometimes. Running the E-type now which I read is anywhere from 5w to 10w. I've read the Screaming Eagle is 15w but some have stated it's stiffens the frontend too much. Lastly I've read some good results mixing the E-type with SE. Anybody have good results with non-HD fork oil and what weight? Wanted to get somemore thoughts on it before I do something. Thanks!

Since fork oil is a straight weight, mixing it to get a custom blend viscosity should work fine. I mix primary oils to get a 38-40W oil which gives me a good clutch feel & noise abatement as well. I would try it if I were you. Start with equal parts of type E and the SE and see what happens. Please post back your results if you do it.
