Default Hwy 6 across North PA

Wife and I are planning to ride Hwy 6 from Coudersport to Port Jarvis on our way to NYC. We'll be coming from Niagra Falls. I know 6 does not go right into Port jarvis, but we'll wind up over that way somewhere. Anyway we have not been in that section of PA yet and I have seen some posts that its a nice ride. Any info would be helpful. Any other route better? We like twisties and scenery.
I figure to be on this road for a couple days. We are going around Aug 19.

From the falls, you should take 219 down to 6, and check out the Kinzua area. Kinzua Dam & Kinzua Bridge are both worth a stop. You'll be about an hour west of Coudersport. Also, the PA Grand Canyon near me is worth a stop. 6 isn't real twisty, but it's a nice ride. The most scenic part is west of Wellsboro. Also less traffic. I'm not crazy about 6, east of here.
