I was there also, Don't know where nine11c2 was or is or when he last visited Wildwood but he should get in a car and take a ride and visit Seaside today.
I'ld rather get run over buy the tramcar. Wildwood was a dump 25 yrs ago?
Let's combine the NJ/NY HOG rallies and have it in PA or MD.
And if they have it in AC the rooms will cost $300 a night or you could get a room where the 4 prostitutes were killed for much less.
In Seaside your ride will be gone in the morning and in Newark in the afternoon in pieces.[]

Mike, read your note above. HOG is no longer going to support Wildwood as the site of the State HOG Rally. They say they will schedule the Rally not to conflict with the Wildwood event, which is "Roar to the Shore".
"Roar to the Shore" has become a bike event (not H-D or HOG specific) in and of itself and took place last year. It simply wasn't the State HOG Rally. There has been a sign saying the State HOG Rally for 2006 was cancelled on their web site for like 9 Months.
I just did an Expedia run of the Hotels in AC for Sept 6-9 this year. Of the 40 hotels with rates showing, yes 1/3 are expensive. Another 1/3 are between 100 and 120 a night. The last 1/3 were below $100 a night. The remaining 75-80 hotels that Expedia did not have the rates for, Travel Lodge, Econo Lodge, Best Western, are predominantly low priced hotels. So that means there would be about 100 -120- hotels below $120 a night in AC. Are we going to have a factual discussion here or are you going to just continue to state inaccuries about other locations?

u better get out of NJ if you own an semi-auto weapons... My friend who lives in Somers Point told me last night that Jersey is talking about banning all semi-auto shotguns & rifles. He belongs to a gun club in South Jersey and they supposedly received an up from someone in Trenton.
I live in Maryland and with the new Democract Gov, he is anti-gun also. Time to move south!
