I am looking at a 10 day trip to the northeast in late July and wonder if anyone has ever used Kampground of America?
My idea of roughing it is usually a Holiday Inn Express but some friends recommended KOA as a cheaper alternative.
What is the good/bad about KOA?
Thanks...

They have some cabins that are step or 2 above camping in a tent. The two I have been to were nice and clean.

Thanks Prostar. I will be travelling with three others and will take a sleeping bag with me and give it a try, at least a night or two...
