Default NH riders...Sept 8th-9th

I am planning a little short getaway these days to NH from NJ...I would like to stay near the Laconia "area". Any information you guys could give me would be great. Roads in the area that are a must see, other things to see? I haven't booked the hotel yet but still looking for one. If anyone wouldn't mind hopping along for a ride either of those days that would be great too. How's the weather up there that time of year? Thannks guys for your help in advance.

Best bet is to type in "laconiabikeweek.net" in your browser. While it's specific to the annual rally, there's tons of useful info there, with links, etc that should help you out quite a bit. Any direction you go in while there is a good direction! You can't really go wrong for some really awesome scenery and riding. A couple suggestions: Mt Washington, and the Kancamagus Highway. From Laconia, a ride to the seashore is not too far away....There's tons of very good eateries everywhere around the general Laconia area. A ride on the M/V Mt Washington is pretty cool (if you like a nice lake cruise that is!) There's also some neat little train excursions in the area.........let's see....well, lots to see and do anywhere up there, and I'm sure the NH guys will chime in with a bunch of ideas for you!

You taking O.L? If so is she gonna have you on a shopping tour in say, Conway? How many are going? What is general plan of group? Plan on spending most time riding or are you planning on sightseeing stops or hiking etc?

Ol lady is stayin home, she isn't a big fan of riding highways. I think I am doing this trip solo, a buddy may come along but he isn't sure yet. I would like to spend the majority of my time riding but save some time for checkin chit out
