Default Need Dealer Recommendation

I am in the market for a 2010 Limited and am looking for dealer recommendations in the SE PA area. Reasonable pricing is obviously important but I am more concerned with reputation regarding service and quality of work. I also plan on having some engine work done, so a full service shop with Dyno and knowledgeable builders and tuners is necessary. I live in the SE corner of PA and am a mile from MD and 5 miles from DE. I would be willing to travel 100 miles for the right dealership.

I do not have a whole lot of experience with service at any of the local dealers. I can say from what I have seen, Laugermans in York has some really good pricing on their bikes. I have also hear many horror stories about Lancaster HD's service dept, although I do buy all my parts in there (they give a mil. discount) and they are the closest to home. What little work I do have done at the dealer, I always go to Iron Valley in Lebanon. They are good guys to work with, very reasonable and I have never had any complaints what so ever there.

Oh yeah, I tried buying a bike from Mikes in DE and they wanted $250 for a "doc fee" when I wasnt even having them do any tag or title work (I am a licensed to do all my own tag/title work in PA)

Thanks; I bought my last 3 bikes from Lancaster and although the pricing was fair, I have had several poor experiences with their service department. I do much work on my bikes ,however I would like to have some engine work done under warranty by a shop that is reputable and will be there should any issues arise. I appreciate your help.

I am not sure how many dealers have dyno's but I did notice when I was out at Susquehanna Valley HD in Harrisburg that they have a dyno. Just thought this was worth noting. They wont give a military discount so I wont buy anything there. Iron Valley has always honored Lancaster's military discount program for me.

When I was in the market last year, I visited 5 dealerships in the PA/MD area and found Laugermans to be the best to deal with. They are family owned and have been in business for years with a great reputation. Mike works the sales area and Dave his brother still turns a wrench. This was the second bike I bought from them in 20 years. Actually yesterday while there for my recall notice Dave was taqlking to me about my job and the last time we chatted was over 2 years ago and he remembered that I was a firefighter without saying a word. That to me shows how he knows his customers. Gettysburg would have been my second choice with Lancaster being my third choice. Baltimore HD and Chesapeake or Ramseys were out there didnt like their attitude , it was like they were doing me a favor. One dealership actually told me not to sit on the bikes. So i left.
