Default SPRINGFIELD, MA Bike show Jan 15-17

Just giving a heads up, I hear this is a really big show and also a lot of vendors attend as well as a swap meet.

I will be attending one or more days

Hubby and I definitely enjoy it, although we do it just for one day. Usually we manage to get $5 off coupons too, although I haven't seen them around yet!!

I was wondering how that show compares to the one held at the Javits Center in NYC? Anybody know?

I hit the show every year. Usually the best one to go to.

I usually go to both. Javitts is new bikes from all manufacturers and vendors. Springfield is more of new bikes and indies and vendors. Both get crowded. Both fun.

That's 3 weekends of bike shows in a row i'll be attending. Hartford Ct, Springfield Ma, Javits Center in NY.

Nothing beats riding, but at least it's something to do while my bike's hibernating.

Not my pictures, but here are some pictures taken by a friend that went to the Springfield show last year. I have never been, so this year will be my first. Maybe I will also check out the show in Hartford Any info on that?

I just hope that there are plenty of vendors, this is what my bike looks like right now. I need to buy a lot of parts and would love to be able to hold a product in my hand/ look at it closely before purchasing rather than order things online.

Here is a link to the Hartford show. In my opinion the one at the Big E is usually a better show, but you never can tell what will happen year to year.

Interesting thing at the Hartford show today, not only was Michelle Smith there, so was Jay Barbieri, producer of American Thunder. The cameras were rolling while Michelle was at the New Indian display and was interviewing someone from Indian or the dealership. Jay was by the cameraman the whole time.

This from Jay:

Jay Barbieri Saying bye to SPEED channel and American Thunder. Hello Two Wheel Thunder on the Discovery's HD Network Monday night on Motorcycle Mondays starting in April....

And yes Michelle is back!
